Feet First ---- Appalachian Clog Dancers
Formed in 1984, Feet First were one of the UK's first Appalachian teams.
They use Appalachian dance steps
and choreograph them into lively and exciting performance routines.
Even after 21 years their repertoire continues to expand.
The dances themselves have a wide variety of influences
including Ballroom, Irish, Greek, Clog, Morris and Jazz.
They always dance to their own band of excellent musicians playing
fiddles, guitar, dog-house bass, and banjo.
Above all, the dancing is fast, furious and fun.
The team have performed at many folk, bluegrass and dance festivals throughout the British Isles and Europe.
They have also appeared on T.V. and have been the subject of a Radio 2 documentary.

Northern Ireland, Redcar, Saltburn, Sidmouth, Stainsby,
Towersey, Truro, Trowbridge, Wheaton Aston, Whitby, Wigan,
Wimbourne and of course, the Millennium Dome in August 2000.
