Appalachian Dancing and Music from Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Feet First Appalachian Clog Dancers from Chesterfield are a lively performance side who have appeared at many Folk Festivals around Britain.

The Feet First dance group was formed in 1984 and were the first to popularise Appalachian dancing in Britain in recent times (along with the Broken Ankles side).

Feet First use traditional Appalachian dance steps and combine them into lively dances that are exciting to watch.

The Feet First Appalachian dance team is based in Chesterfield allowing people to book them to dance in any part of the UK. Displays can be short (15 minutes), longer (30 minutes) or a performance mixing singing, music playing and dance can last over 45 minutes.
