Seriously, though, it easy to forget what sound engineers do. They turn up hours before the performers have to, to get things set up ,and while the dancers and musicians get any acclaim that might be on offer for the short time they are there, the sound engineer is usually in some darkened corner, un-noticed. and he still has to pack everything up at the end.

OK, John, now you sound important, do I get my five quid??

He only gets noticed when something goes wrong. Er, I mean if anything should ever go wrong - some time in the future. Perhaps. John in action

	John is Feet First's sound engineer. He also works for The Wam Bam Band so he's in great demand.
John has done sound engineering for a long time. He says all this sound engineering is a sign of a mis-spent childhood
