Worked in an Agile team to deliver features on the Thinkstock and Jupiter Images websites. Code in ASP .NET MVC, jQuery, and SASS.

Ascentium corporation February 2008 to July 2011

Worked on a small team with a tight timeline to deliver a Microsoft e-commerce site with purchase decision tools, filtered browsing, PC comparison, and a recommendation engine. Technologies included LINQ, C# ASP .NET 4.0, HTML5, and jQuery.

Lead developer for the Windows 7 Compatibility Center, a database-driven application for 17 different countries.

Helped build a Facebook application for EA's Dante's Inferno that peaked at 600,000 community members.

Worked in a team on a web application for the Clinton Climate Initiative intended to help cities around the world to track their greenhouse gas emissions, with the goal of reducing their carbon footprint. Application was written in ASP .NET and C#, with AJAX/jQuery to provide a rich user experience.

Sagem Morpho Inc (now MorphoTrack) May 2006 to February 2008

Designed and built the New Jersey Fingerprinting Scheduler, a website that allows residents of NJ who need to have a criminal background check to schedule and pay for their appointment. Used the PayPal API to handle credit and debit transactions, and the Google Maps API so that users could find fingerprinting sites closest to them.

Developed software using C# and VBScript to transmit biometric data to state and federal Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS). Gathered requirements from customers; designed user interface and workflow.

Implemented websites for both external and internal customers using ASP .NET and C#. One website, which allowed criminal justice agents to monitor the status of records as they were transmitted between various AFIS, was one of Sagem Morpho's best received products at the 2007 Annual Users� Conference.

Autoscan Inc. November 2004 to April 2006

Part of a 2-person team that designed and developed software using C# and C++ to securely transfer medical data across networks using the DICOM standard. Wrote an ASP .NET web application so that doctors could remotely view and annotate patients� files.

Other experience

Taught and graded weekly labs for the computer science department at Western Washington University, including Introduction to C++ and HTML 101.

4 years as an Assistant manager at the Fairhaven Dining Hall. Responsibilities included hands-on training, shift scheduling, employees quarterly reviews and raises, and hiring/firing.
